The coffee chain said it would mandate antibias training for executives and link their compensation to increasing minority representation in its workforce, becoming the latest company to set fresh diversity goals.

Hiring less qualified people because of race is discrimination against quality abilities to make a bigger paycheck.   The idea of running a business is to be the best you can be and make a profit.  With employment based on race you discourage people from doing a fantastic job since race is out of your control so why bother being better when the minority gets the better deal. All the customers and workers are degraded by something they can not change.


I for one will not buy from Starbucks knowing they are not focused on the customer and not rewarding workers for serving the customer.
